As the new season of NHL begins, there are going to be five games being played on Monday, the 28th of January. As the new week begins, our featured game will take place at 7:00PM Eastern Time, one of two games being played at 7:00PM. Our featured game is between the Dallas Stars and the Columbus Blue Jackets with the Blue Jackets hosting, and then there will be some other games as well, like the other 7:00PM game between the Boston Bruins and the Carolina Hurricanes. Colorado and Edmonton will also be playing.
The Dallas Stars most recently went up against the Chicago Blackhawks, and even though they lost the game 3 to 2, they did take it into overtime. Dallas sits in third in the Pacific, with two games won, two games lost and then the one overtime loss from that recent game. As for the Columbus Blue Jackets, they are just coming off of a loss that ended four to nothing on Thursday, against the Colorado Avalanche. Now, Columbus is at the bottom of the Central Division standings with just three points from one win and one overtime loss.

The Columbus Blue Jackets will host the Dallas Stars at 7:00PM on Tuesday, October 18th. This will be the third week of games for the National Hockey League. That day the Washington Capitals host the Florida Panthers at 7:00PM as well and then Pittsburgh and Minnesota face off at 7:30PM. Dallas played Columbus just recently on Saturday, and was able to beat the Blue Jackets four to two in that game. Now, the two teams will meet again just three days later to see if Columbus can come back and take a win, or if the Stars will do it again.
Right now, the Dallas Stars are sitting on the top of the Pacific Division Standings right now with six points, after winning three games so far this season, with only one loss. They are followed by Los Angeles and Phoenix with five points. Columbus is unfortunately at the very bottom of the Central Division. They have lost four out of the five games they have played, with one overtime loss for a single points.
